War poetryI come from Wooburn coarse. Somebody had to. When we first moved hereit seemed an alright place. There are plenty of handle for sport andstunning views. But these mild advantages are swamped by a thousandand one disadvantages. For example, I still, after four years ofliving here, am advance to terms with the fact that Im the only saneperson in this village. Even my family seem to be a little on theinsane case after living here, but I cant say I blame them. The onlyentertainment there is dodging the spelly vicious animals when you goon walks and trying not to get lost in the uncountable number of treesand wooded areas. Its enough to drive anyone madOne of the inhabitants of Wooburn Common is harebrained dog man. He hassomewhere in the region of 15 dogs which he talks to, not to mentionhimself, regularly. He is a tall, lanky man, with grey greased tooshiehair and always wears, rain or shine, his dark green rain Mac andWellington boots. One day, one of his beloved dogs decided to leave apackage for us, on our lawn for my dad to find. We were unaware atfirst whose dog did the deed but we treated it as a one off. As wewere roughly to find out this was not the case. Everyday a fresh one waslaid we even put a sign up saying enchant do not allow your dog tofoul on our verge, or we may have to return the favor. It was nogood, the poo just kept coming (by now mostly on the sign itself)until operation pooper scoop was initiated. A whole day I spent in mysisters car at the annihilate of drive with a pair of binoculars waiting forthe now named phantom pooper to arrive. Time dragged on, but as Iwas about to call it a day, crazy dog man decided to show his face,dogs and all. It was horrific One or two of the dogs had diarrhea,but I consoled myself by knowing that I had caught the culprit. Itwasnt long originally I told my dad. He went, besides a bright scarletcolour, mad, but managed to coolly and calmly place one of the manyexcretory products in to an ga sbag and posted through the recipientsletter box A punishment well deserved but events like this onehappen regularly in wooburn common and although reasonably funny, theroutine of them happening again and again every week is definitelynot.If you live in Wooburn common you have to accept that the main stack of
